My dad came up to help us finish getting our home ready for the arrival of our exchange student. We had some baseboards we needed help finishing on the main level, and also in Ellies room, and we also had the door in our hall closet that need to be hung, plus a few other things. I am so grateful for my dad and his willingness to share his talents and knowledge of wood, and finish carpentry.
My dad brought with him his 2 dogs (Maddis parents). Button just happened to be pregnant, and had 2 puppies while my dad was in town. When it was time to head home he decided to leave the momma pup and her two babbies with us, and then decided to leave Bandit with us as well. Dad's 2 big dogs, my big dog, and 2 new pups made for 4 more dogs than we like to have in our house. lol We enjoyed watching the pups grow, but had a hard time having extra pets in the house. When the pups were 10 days old we took them back down to my dads house, and said goodbye to these 2 cute pups.

We had heard that the Fall were running full so we stopped and grabbed some KFC, and then headed down to the park for a picnic.
Ray grew up just above the falls, and spent his life playing here.
The kids enjoyed swimming in the water,
and feeling the wet breeze from the water running over the falls.

After we were done we stopped by Aunt Lynne's house to drop off a paper Ray had for her, and to say a quick Hello, before heading of to Explore the Minidoka Relocation Center.
It was a hot day to explore, but we enjoyed reading about the area, and seeing the remains of what are left of this Ghost town.
She was concentrating so hard on taking the perfect picture that I had to capture the moment. Then when I downloaded her pictures later, and seen how beautiful the picture was I was glad I captured the moment. :)
Isn't this a neat picture? I tell ya this girl has some hidden skills. Now she is saying she needs a better camera for christmas. Guess she is going to have to start sweet talking daddy!
As she was signing her name to the photo she said mom do you think I should offer to sale my wonderful pictures? This girl is good and brave. Much braver than her momma! :)
Ellie thought this horse was so pretty!

Ellie wanted to take this horse home with her. It looked to sweet an made my teeth hurt just looking at it. I think it made my kids hyper just being around it. ;)
This horse was so pretty! I loved the wild animal paintings on it. I would love to have this horse in my front yard during the autumn months. :)
Steph and I took the boys to the splash pad the day after it opened. It was busy with lots of families enjoying the hot day playing in the water, and the boys had a blast.
The second day we went we took Jaxon with us. He wasn't sure he wanted to ge wet, but after sitting in the heat he decided he was not really too old to play in the water, and enjoyed himself too. I love this picture of him being drenched by the water bucket. Such a cool picture I think!
Jake and Stetson really started getting goofy. I love this piture of them being COOL rock stars. Jake sure loves Stetson, and is always sad when we have to head home again after our visits.

Jake is covering his face laughing because he was being so silly. Love this kid!!!

They had a talent show at the reunion, and boy was it amazing. This family has talent, and I feel so lucky to be apart of such an amazing family. It left me wishing DeLaney would have been there to show some talent from George's family. Well not just DeLaney, Tena has kids who have amazing singing voices as well, DeLaney is just the one brave enough to let her voice be heard! :)
