On our way-
We stopped for a break while on our way to Ocean Shores. We grabbed Subway sandwiches, and headed to a park alongside the river where they were selling salmon. It was fun to see how big the fish were, and the kids enjoyed throwing rocks in the river. I enjoyed taking pictures, and Ray enjoyed relaxing on the banks of the river.

What a BIG Stink!!!
The other day I was on the phone, and Jake kept coming in and telling me he needed a drink (now), I told him to wait a few seconds and I would get one for him. Well a few minutes later I heard some noisy drinking sounds, and when I came into the dining room this is what I found making. The stink, I asked him what on earth he was doing and he said MOM, I told you I was so thirsty and you just keeped on talking and talking and you just couldn't stop, so I just got dad's drink in the fridge and got my own drink. This is a 2 liter bottle, and it hadn't been opened yet. He opened it and drank probably 16 ounces of it. In our house Ray has a rule kids don't drink caffeine, so when I caught him he knew he was in big trouble yet he still quickly finished drinking as much as he wanted to drink. THE BIG STINK, I guess that is what happens when you don't get him a drink as fast as he wants you to, especially when he is so thirsty.

My Jake
The other day I was looking at some pictures I had done, and Jake turned and said excuse me mom, could you hurry and take some pictures of me cause I am so dorable. I thought it was pretty funny. Jake usually gets pretty annoyed with me when I want to do pictures of him cause it seems I am always wanting to take pictures of the kids. I hurried and grabbed my camera and clicked some quick pics (the reason for them not being real nice) before he decided he was done and told me to turn off my camera and give him some space. (sheesh) lol He is getting so big. Part of me wishes he would stay little forever, and the other part is so excited to see what kind of man he will become. But I will be patient, and be happy to take one day at a time.
