Mother Daughter Date

I'm a big boy now.
Jake has fought us for quite some time now about not being ready to take his training wheels off of his bike. So the other day when his friend came by and Jake got on his bike and rode away, and even stood up to ride the bike and also tried no hands, I decided he was a big boy and quickly took off his baby wheels, and tossed them in the trash. To watch him ride his bike, you would think he has been doing it for a long time now. The Stink!!!

And the Winner's Are-

Here are the winning invitations that both Kenzi, and the twins chose to send out as their graduation announcement. I had lots of fun making these invites, and hope they are pleased with them. They also asked me to do something around the picture of the three of them also. They seemed to be really happy with it as well. Thanks girls for letting me have fun with you for a bit. Love ya!!! Happy Graduation. :)

Sisters Weekend
My sisters and I had our first ever sisters weekend. We had such a good time talking, laughing, shopping, eating, and acting like we were kids.
(Karri and Terra did not make the sisters weekend)
We left our kids at home with our husbands. I headed to Orem, they headed up from Hurricane, and we met up at Clare and Doris's house where we ate Dinner together and then headed out shopping to the Mall and then to Zurchers. We spent the night in the basement laughing, and remembering old times. The next morning we got up to a yummy breakfast, and headed to Salt Lake where we did some more shopping. We stopped by Real Deals and then went to IKEA where we shopped for hours. Then we headed to lunch at Cafe Rio and then we headed back to Orem. Kellie, Jackie, and Melanie jumped in Jackie's van and headed home, and Tracey, Stephanie and I did a bit more shopping and then headed to a Motel where we spent the night laughing and having fun. The next morning I headed home, more than ready to see my hubby and kids ( I really missed them).
I had to throw in this picture of my uncle Clare and aunt Doris. I love them so much, they have always been like grandparents to us, and the memories I have of them are all great ones. :)

Mendon Cemetery (where the Ancestors are)
Every year Ray and I head over to the Mendon Cemetery to visit with our Ancestors. I love looking in old history books and reading old journals about those loved ones who have passed on years ago, and then sitting with them at their graves, and feeling a closeness to them like I have known them my whole life. Some of the stories told of them, and their hard times, make my life seem simple and plain. I am so thankful for the opportunity to get to know them even though they have been gone for many years. It makes me feel anxious for the day when I really do get to meet them face to face. :)
