Transition Meetings Over

So, the transition meeting didn't go as well as I was hoping, but it didn't go as bad as I was expecting either. I do know now that I really do not have much like in my heart for Jake's Preschool teacher, or the outgoing Elementary Principal (I really hope the new Principal will be more child oriented). I was able to find out who Jake's Teacher will be this next year and really like the lady. I think the plan will be to take one week at a time. I have looked into some private schools, and may look at some homeschooling books as well. I wish that Ellie's Kindergarten teacher were still at our school, if so I would not be dreading this next year as much as I am.
K, enough complaining, I got me some dishes to get to. (blah, blah, blah)

  1. Read A Thomas Jefferson Education by Oliver Demille. Follow your heart as to what is right. You're a great mom, if public school feels right, do it, if homeschool feels right then do it. remember that the postiive is the spirit, and the negative is the adversary who doesn't want us to do what we need to do. good luck

  2. I wonder if that is the same Oliver Demille I went to school with.LOL. Anyway. I think you would do a really good homeschool. Remember how good you did at the preschool you did for us...and you liked it. at least you told us you did... seriously look into the virtual one it looks pretty good and they have all the lessons planned out for you and everything (at least thats what i understand.) and they have online support for you. That's the big thing for me.
