Ellie went to the dentist yesterday to have some sealant put on her teeth to help prevent cavities (she has none so far). While we were there the dentist said she had a soft spot on a tooth, so he numbed up her mouth and worked on her tooth. She was so nervous, as was I. I had to look away as he told her he was going to pinch her mouth (he gave her a shot). I was almost in tears, but she did great. He told her she needs to stop loosing teeth until her four missing ones grow back or she would have to go back to eating baby food. She really found no humor in it, but he thought he was sure funny. When she was done he let her pick out 2 prizes from his chest for her bravery. She is such a good kid, and I love her so much. I and am so grateful she is such a big help to me, and that she is MY girl!
Today I had to run to town to register the van. After doing so I headed to WalMart to do some shopping. While we were shopping we stopped by the infant department to look for a baby gift for a gal in our ward who just had a baby. As I walked by this shopping cart Jake looking down at the sleeping baby and said mom, when that ugly baby gets big will it be cute like me. I about died, I quickly covered his mouth as I turned the corner. As I looked back I noticed that the mom was on her phone, and thankfully did not hear my son. I asked him why he thought the baby was ugly, and he said cause did you see it mom. I don't think he was trying to be rude, just honest. I swear these kids of mine and there straight talk.

hahaha!! So matter of fact :) I think {other people's} kids are so funny when they say stuff like that. LOL. Brinley is a very honest person and sometimes puts people in their place only because she's just saying it how it is. KIDS!!
