Uncle Chad and Life Flight

Chad recently got hired on with IHC Life Flight out of St. George, and has been traveling around to different air pads to train. While he was in Ogden he called us and asked if we (Ellie, Jake and I) wanted to come down and visit him. Well as soon as the kids were out of school we headed down to Ogden (about 45 minutes away) to visit with uncle Chad, and get some pictures of the Life Flight Chopper. We knew we didn't have much time being that it was 3PM and he was headed back to Hurricane at 6PM but family means a lot to us, and we decided that it was worth the 90 or so minutes in the car to visit with him. :) Ellie and Jake thought they were pretty cool to get to sit in the chopper with uncle Chad.Doesn't Jake look so cool! He looks like he is ready to hop on board and fly this bad boy.And here is is in the pit, ready to take flight. He had to make sure it wasn't going to fly away with him in it before he would climb in at all. (lol) Such a little worrier!Ellie would have been more than happy to have it take off with her inside. She is a bit more brave than her little brother. She is my brave child, usually always willing to try things like this. After the kids got done checking out Life Flight, they decided they would let uncle Chad and I visit while they rolled down the big hill next to where the chopper was parked. All that was going through my mind as they were rolling down this big hill was oh man I hope they don't throw up in my car on the way home. Both kids have a bit of a weak stomach when it comes to spinning, or whirling very much. And this hill was taking them for a spin!Going, Going, Going-Gone!
It really was a steep hill.I thought the Sky looked so beautiful that I had to capture a few pictures while visiting with Chad. The Jets were flying through the air from HILL air force base, and it really made me miss living in Ogden and hearing the jet rumble on a daily basis.
(The little specks in the picture are jets returning home to the base)
