My Funny Kids, (they make me laugh)

Today the kids had no school due to something called a NO CONTRACT DAY. So a friend of mine and I took our kids to McDonald's for lunch. Well, this was a first with this girl and her three very cute and wild girls, ages 7, 5, and 2. Well as we pulled into our driveway after spending 3 hours at McD's (oops) :) Jake said mom, I said what Jake, he said I had a fun. I said you did, well I'm glad. And he said, NO not with you, with those funky chicks. I said K, and he said thanks you not notty. ??? I thought it was so funny, and I just laughed and laughed and then Ellie piped in and said mom it wasn't that funny, I am like 70 cents funnier than him and you only laugh half, whats going on. And of course I just busted up laughing even harder. Silly kids, they make me smile. :)

Bag Tag

A friend of mine BAG TAGGED me at the first of this month through an email, and has since hounded me to get going on my tag. So, I guess now is as good of time as any to do it. Are ya happy now? :) (love ya)

1. Show a picture of your bag
2. Show a picture of ALL the contents of your diaper bag, purse, wallet, no cleaning out first!
3. Tell the brand name of your BAG
4. "Bag Tag" 5 people

I found my Purse at the DI (hehe) and we immediately fell in love. I paid a buck for it, it still had the store tags on it, a receipt inside, and I could tell that it was going to hold all the fabulous junk I needed and wanted to carry around with me when I left the house.
(including the kitchen sink) :)

The Brand name of my purse is FOSSIL. (I think?)

The front pouch is where I keep my keys, carmex (a must have) and my cell phone.

On the other side is a zipper type wallet. I keep all credit cards, debit card, check book, spare change, 2 pens, medical cards, stickers to bribe my kids, a notebook to put my thoughts in during the day, library cards, and any other cards I may have from clubs, and stores.

Now for the inside. Holy Cow, I didn't realize I had so much junk, until now when I am looking at it. (YIKES) Inside I have 3 little books, a baggy of briber candy :), 2 hawaiian punch packets, mints, kids vitamins, toothpaste, dental floss, toothbrush, MP3 Player, clippers, wipes, mommy gum, kid gum, tylenol, hand sanitizer, perfume, band aids, medicine for Ellie, mommy things, allergy medicine, lip gloss, tide stick, some itch cream, and some whitening strips. No wonder my purse is always so heavy. Maybe it's time to de clutter the purse!!

So, I know that I am supposed to BAG TAG 5 people, but instead I think I will just Tag whomever reads this BAG TAG post. Love ya much, and looking forward to some BAG TAGS on your own blogs.

Ellie's Little Funny...

Ellie came up to me while I was rocking with Jake, and she had this pained look on her sweet little face. She was holding her tummy and said ( Mom, my belly hurts really bad, and I have the bizzies, and them both on my body at the same time is just freakin' me out. Maybe I should probably just stay home from school tomorrow and get better). So, my question to all of you is does anyone have a cure for the bizzies? If so pass it my way so my Ella Bell can make it to school in the morning. Thanks Much...

Pictures from Jakes Birthday

Jake wasn't feeling good enough to go to McDonalds with a couple of friends, so I made cupcakes at home, and let he and Ellie decorate them. They both had a fun time. He would decorate his, and then lick off the frosting and say he needed to start over again. He is wearing the spiderman suit he got for his birthday, (which he doesn't want to ever take off). He walked around all day saying, (sing happy birthday to me "K"), and then he would get a big smile on his face and say I'm 4. He is feeling much better now, and I am glad. :)

One Sick Little Boy...

Jake has been sick since Friday, and we have had some scary nights where he wakes up crying that he can't breath. He coughs until he throws up, and just wants to lay around doing absolutely nothing. On Saturday night I called Ray at work, and told him I didn't want to be one of those moms who rushes their kid into the ER because they have a cold. Then last night I called Ray concerned becaused Jake was having a hard time breathing yet again. But, I still refused to be one of those moms who runs their kid into the ER with a cold. So after only recieving about 4 hours of sleep last night I woke this morning on a mission to get my little guy to the DR as soon as I could. At 7:00 I called and left a message letting them know that I needed to see the DR this morning for Jake. Well by 8:30 they called me back letting me know that the soonest they could get us in was 11:20, but that our DR was out of town and so we would have to see one of the other Docs in the Medical Center. So, after waiting for a half hour in the waiting room, and an additional hour in the back room, we found that Jake has Bronchial Pneumonia, and a pretty bad ear infection. The DR gave him two different medications, drops for his ear, and some Albuterol for breathing treatments. (I am grateful we have a breathing machine already, cause our insurance doesnt pay for the machine and they are expensive to rent) Anyway I am hoping that he will start feeling better quick. I told Ray that if he has a hard time tonight I wont hesitate bringing him into the Hospital. Plus, I don't want him to have to be sick on his birthday on Thursday. But, on the plus side of this tired day, Ellie had her 6 month cleaning checkup and she was given a good mark. She has a spot on one of her teath that the dentist wants to keep his eye on, but other than that she has no cavities, so all is good. : )

More Flowers :)

I don't know what I did to deserve such a dang sweet husband, but I must have done something. We spent several hours yesterday with Ellie at the doctor, and at the Hospital while she had her blood drawn yet again. Anyway, while we were waiting for the results we ran to Wal-Mart to do some quick shopping, and as we were walking to the checkout Ray walked up to the cart and put these two plants in. He said the roses were because he loves me, and the gerbera daisies are because they are my favorite. I am on cloud nine with my 3 beautiful blooming plants in my house. Thanks again Sweet Tard, I Love You!!! SMAK : )

My Sweet Husband...

You know, I am a big fan of Winter time. I love that it is not hot. I would much rather pile on the clothes and blankets to stay warm, than have to search for ways to cool off (you can only get so naked). With that being said, I have been a bit overwelmed with all the snow we have been recieving in the last little bit. And I have found myselft worrying about the little dumb things like ( how will I get Ellie to school if the roads are icy, what if I am not able to keep the sidewalks clean enough for people who may be passing by, do I trust Jake to go on the bus to school, where I am not there to see how safe the driver is being with my son on board, is our roof going to be ok will all this stinkin' snow. And many more crazy little thoughts). I know they are all just pitty worries, and that they really don't hold much strength as real worries. But, none the less I find myself stressing over these things. Well my dear sweet husband bought me this beautiful hyacinth the other day in hopes of making my fears vanish. He knows how much I love flowers, and miss being able to work with flowers of all types. I love him so much for thinking of something so sweet. And you know what, I think it has helped a bit. The smell that this little plant is giving is so wonderful, the color is so vibrant, and it has been so fun watching more blooms open up. I am so thankful for my husband and his willingness to try and calm my silly fears. He is such a good man, and I love him dearly. Thanks Ray... Ray came home from work this morning with some information for me about this winter storm. He said that Don (a guy he works with that he has become friends with) told him that this is the most snow they have seen in Box Elder County in 20 plus years. That is just great. :) But again I will try to look on the bright side of this and be thankful for the moisture we are recieving that will make our spring and summer a bit greener and more enjoyable. Have a good day!!
