My Sweet Husband...

You know, I am a big fan of Winter time. I love that it is not hot. I would much rather pile on the clothes and blankets to stay warm, than have to search for ways to cool off (you can only get so naked). With that being said, I have been a bit overwelmed with all the snow we have been recieving in the last little bit. And I have found myselft worrying about the little dumb things like ( how will I get Ellie to school if the roads are icy, what if I am not able to keep the sidewalks clean enough for people who may be passing by, do I trust Jake to go on the bus to school, where I am not there to see how safe the driver is being with my son on board, is our roof going to be ok will all this stinkin' snow. And many more crazy little thoughts). I know they are all just pitty worries, and that they really don't hold much strength as real worries. But, none the less I find myself stressing over these things. Well my dear sweet husband bought me this beautiful hyacinth the other day in hopes of making my fears vanish. He knows how much I love flowers, and miss being able to work with flowers of all types. I love him so much for thinking of something so sweet. And you know what, I think it has helped a bit. The smell that this little plant is giving is so wonderful, the color is so vibrant, and it has been so fun watching more blooms open up. I am so thankful for my husband and his willingness to try and calm my silly fears. He is such a good man, and I love him dearly. Thanks Ray... Ray came home from work this morning with some information for me about this winter storm. He said that Don (a guy he works with that he has become friends with) told him that this is the most snow they have seen in Box Elder County in 20 plus years. That is just great. :) But again I will try to look on the bright side of this and be thankful for the moisture we are recieving that will make our spring and summer a bit greener and more enjoyable. Have a good day!!

  2. That is very sweet. Anything that makes me think of spring and makes it seem closer is wonderful. Did you get your 30 inches of snow?
