Ellie entered a Duck Stamp Contest for the Bird Refuge through her school. She was supposed to decide on a duck she wanted to draw, and then do her best work. She got online and searched the internet for the perfect duck. 
She loved a picture she found of a Wood Duck, and decided that this would be the duck she would draw. She was more than excited when she found out that she got an Honorable Mention. She worked really hard on this drawing, and we are very proud of her and her talents.

She received both her ribbon and certificate at the final school assembly, and was all smiles when the crowd cheered her and a few other winners from her school on.
