On Monday the 10th, Melanie and her family came to Cedar City, and we took the kids to the Iron Mine Museum, and then out to see the Petroglyphs. It was a lot of fun, and the kids and our husbands enjoyed the day. The kids had fun playing in the learning section of the museum, and then getting to have their pictures taken in an old Mail Wagon. Then out at the Parowan Gap we hiked all over finding Petroglyphs. It was fun trying to guess what the Indians were writing down. Troy and Ray got in trouble for hiking to far up the mountain (scared me half to death) and the kids had fun finding their own place to hide, and have a picture taken. We had a real enjoyable day, and to finish it off we got dinner, and headed to the Discovery Park for a picnic, and some more fun. By the end of the night my kids were so tired they went right to bed, and even slept in which never ever happens. Anyway, it was a very good trip to Southern Utah.
