Quick Trip South

Last Friday morning, Ray woke me up at about 4:30 whispering in my ear about how bored he was, and how he was going crazy just sitting around. I told him that was nice, but that I was sleeping and he should leave me alone. Well, at about 6 he woke me up again and told me to get packed cause he had decided we were going to head to Southern Utah for the weekend. Well I got up, and quickly began to pack. When the kids got up, we told them they were going to have a sluff day from school, and that we were heading to Hurricane they quickly got hyper and began dancing around. We had a fun time visiting family in Southern Utah. We stayed at Mike and Karen's while there. On Saturday, we went to the Coral Canyon Park for an early Easter Party cause Tracey and her family were down, and would not be able to come back down for Easter. The kids had a blast, and by the end of the day my kids were completely exhausted. Then on Sunday, we went to Mike and Karen's and supported their family while they spoke in church. Mike, Karen, Alycia, Sam and Leuban spoke in church, and DeLaney sang (His Hands). Then after church we headed back to Hurricane, and went out to the Dinosaur tracks with my parents, my sister Tracey and her 6 kids, and my sister Melanie and her husband Troy, and their 5 kids. From their we headed over to Fort Pierce and looked around, and then headed back to my parents. Then Sunday evening we went to Carlyn's and visited with her and Creed, which my kids had a ton of fun with him. Then on Monday morning we had planned on heading home, but as we were preparing to leave town, Melanie called and asked if we would like to go to the Iron Mine Museum with her and Troy and their kids, and then out to the Parowan Gap to see the Petroglyphs. It sounded like it would be lots of fun, so we decided to spend the day with the Barlows, and head home Tuesday. The kids really enjoyed the Museum, the Petroglyphs, and then at the end of the night we went to the Discovery Park, and had dinner together. It was a fun day, and my kids absolutely loved spending time with their cousins. Ellie and Jake are both looking forward to heading down again for Easter. I hope we have as much fun then as we did this time. ;)
