At the first of this month Uncle Mike, Sam, and Leuben stayed at our house over the weekend, and Ellie decided that one evening while we were all outside visiting that she wanted to take the training wheels off her bike. Well I worked with her for a few seconds with no luck, and then had to go in the house to help Jake. Well, a few minutes later Ray yelled out to me that I needed to grab my camera cause Ellie was riding her bike by herself. And sure enough, when I got outside she was riding up and down the street just like a pro. She was even able to stand up while riding. Ray and I are so proud of her. She wanted to do this, and she did. When I asked her how she was able to learn without my help, she told me that she just told herself she can do it if she wants to, and that no one can tell her she is too small. (something she hears maybe to often)
We Love you Ella Bell, and are proud of you. Way to go!!!

I know just how she feels. I taught myself to ride too. She sounds like she might have taken the wheels off if you didn't. (I did!)
