Promise me you will always remember that you are stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and loved more than you ever imagined.

My Husband~

My cousin Shelise had this on her blog, and I decided to do it because I figured that most of you don't really know my sweet husband, and maybe from this you will know him a little better.

What is his name? Raymond Stanley Westfall (Ray)
How long have you been together? We met in 98, and have been married since June of 99. Eight and a half years since we were Married in the St. George Temple. : )
How long did you date? About 7-8 months.
How old his he? Ray is 45 years young, and still a kid at heart.
Favorite Food? Ray is a Meat and Potatoes Man...
Who said I love you first? I probably said I love you first to Ray, but I was more used to saying it. So, I probably said it long before I actually knew if I meant it. (does that make since?)
But, once I knew I meant it I happily said it all the time... : )
Who is taller? Definately Ray by several inches.
Who can sing better? Me. Ray does not think he can sing, although he actually can.
Who is smarter? Ray has me beat hands down. He is the most intelligent man I know.
Who does the laundry? I do, no questions asked.
Who pays the bills? I pay the bills, but Ray sets up the program every month. So, I guess you could say it is a joint effort.
Who sleeps on the right side? I do. I used to sleep on the left side, but just recently we decided to switch sides.
Who mows the lawn? Ray mows the lawns, and might I say he does a fabulous job. He is such a good man, and I love him for the work he does to make my yard look nice.
Who cooks dinner? I usually am the one to cook the meals. I feel that it is my job/duty as the wife, and plan to keep my title as cook.
Who drives? I love, love, love it when Ray drives, but am willing to take my turn when he chooses not to.
Who is more stubborn? I think we about tie on this one. We are both givers and takers though, so it makes our relationship work wonderfully.
Who kissed who first? I totally kissed Ray first. With as shy as he is, had I not made the first move, we may not have kissed until our wedding day. (the cute little booger)
Who asked who out first? Ray very nervously asked me out first. (cute story, he brought his 3 year old nephew with him, and then smiled his sweet smile and said ( I brought him for moral support) He won my heart right then, with that one little comment. : )
Who proposed? Well, if you can call it a proposal. Ray, several times on the phone said ( I'm not asking, but if I did, would you say yes?) My response was always (I don't know I guess it depends on if you asked) Then finally one night after he said it again I said I would probably say yes if he DID ask, several days later he called me at work and asked me to stop by his house after work. I did and he tossed me a ring box and told me to open it. Then, very nervously said, ( Try it on, if it fits we'll get married) He was so affraid I would say NO. (Silly Boy)
Who is more sensitive? Me all the way. He has his moments, but me, I have that darn Leavitt blood running through my veins, and my bladder next to my tear ducts. I cry over the darndest things. I am just a big ball baby.

Thank you Ray for being the man you are. You are the most amazing person I know, and I hope that you will always know how thankful I am for having you in my life. You inspire me to be a better person, and I am lucky to be your wife. Thank you for always being there for me, and for being the bestest daddy in the whole wide world. You make my journey to forever enjoyable. I Love You..... XOXOXO
